Sundays, Home, & Rest

I am grateful to be back with my family👇🏼

Friends,

This week was very Willie Nelson “On the Road Again” for me, which is a tremendous gift. It was also really purposeful. And thanks to airline miles, I got to experience a few new products I have been eager to try.

Spoiler: I flew Air France’s new long-haul business class semi-accidentally back to the States yesterday and it is among the best in the world right now (in Tommy’s brain, at least). More on that flight soon.

But I am home again, and gratefully back with my girls. Dorothy was right: there is no place like home.

I slept terribly all week (which feels hilariously dramatic to write — but it is true) and it is the best to be back in the same place as my family. I am (in grace) more than the ten year old homesick kid I was at summer camp, but he is still with me. I love the peace and joy of home.

And I just marvel at how big our world is. There is so much to say there, but I will be brief today: it is simply huge.

Thank you to each of you for flying with me. It is a joy and inspiration to write to you about travel and adventures (along with using points to make them possible). You are the hero of this story.

Happy Sunday!

Fly well.
